December 2024: number of unemployed at the labour offices in Slovakia: 164206, of which 64320 are long term unemployed, unemployment rate 4.6 % (1.8 % long term unemployment)
Highest unemployment: Rimavská Sobota 14.3 % (8.8 %), Revúca 13.9 % (9.1 %), Kežmarok 11.2 % (6.4 %), Vranov nad Topľou 10.9 % (5.7 %), Rožňava 10.6 % (6.1 %).
Lowest unemployment:: Trenčín 2.3 % (0.3 %), Nitra 2.3 % (0.3 %), Hlohovec 2.3 % (0.3 %), Piešťany 2.3 % (0.3 %), Galanta 2.5 % (0.3 %).
