Unemployment structure in the Visegrad region
Differences of unemployment among counties can be ilustrated by this map.
Long term unemployment
Higher number of unemployed people, higher unemployment rate means higher share of long term unemployed from unemployed people. Here, we compare unemployment rate from Labour force survey with the share of long term unemployed from the number of unemployed people.
On the level of counties, we can observe high correlation of these two variables. The highest correlation is in Slovakia.
Low education
Data on the education of unemployed people also show high correlation of unemployment share with the share of low educated unemployed from the unemployed people. Again, the highest correlation is in Slovakia.
